Frequently asked questions
Is the Pet Health Club pet insurance?
The Pet Health Club covers preventative treatment only. It is not insurance and will not cover treatment for accidents and/or illnesses. To cover accident or illness treatment for your pet, we recommend that you take out insurance. Please speak to your veterinary practice for further advice.
Does the plan cover me for multiple pets?
Treatments and benefits only apply to the pet named on the relevant plan.
Can I use all the benefits on the day I join?
Your pet will need to be assessed by a vet, who will then advise which benefits/treatments to use at the time of consultation. The flea and worming treatments will be dispensed throughout the year (a maximum of 3 months’ worth of treatment will be dispensed at any one time).
A pet may start the vaccination course, be microchipped and receive their first flea and worming treatment during their first visit. There's also a range of other benefits, such as discounted food, discounts on pet shop sales and dentistry, that you can use all year round as many times as you wish.
How can I change my plan?
To upgrade your Essentials plan to a Plus plan, or to downgrade your Plus plan to an Essentials plan, please call us on 01225 489821.
